What We Do

Design, Build, Save

In 2019 the Clean Buildings Act was signed into law. In 2022 the bill was expanded and new requirements were put on building owners to comply with clean energy standards.

As it stands now, if building owners don’t meet Washington State law requirements, they will be fined $1.50 per square foot, per 5-year compliance period. Without our help, you could be one of those building owners.

At Custom Energy Consultants we design and build a custom plan to help you avoid those costly fees, and be in compliance with the State of Washington.

No Cost Analysis

We collect utility use history, create a profile in Energy Star Portfolio Manager, develop an energy benchmark, determine the allowable energy use per the Clean Buildings Act, and review results with building owners at no cost.

Our team has a vast knowledge and years of experience with HVAC, lighting, and solar projects. We understand existing buildings and have completed hundreds of energy audits.

Custom Solutions

We are unique in that we take the time needed to understand buildings, systems, and the owner’s needs. We don’t jump to conclusions and our deliverables far exceed the requirements of the Clean Buildings Act. Additionally, our grant team is constantly searching for resources to obtain funding.
